We are delighted to extend an invitation to our forthcoming Haemophilia Conclave 2024 scheduled on May 18th, 2024 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

Haemophilia Conclave 2024 strives to bring together experts in the field of Haemophilia and healthcare professionals across India. It’s primary focus is to achieve consensus on policies and protocols for optimal Haemophilia care by involving the key stakeholders in

Haemophilia management, and to come out with our updated national guidelines on Haemophilia treatment (The first guidelines were released on 14 December 2023). Haemophilia Conclave 2024 is organised by the Haemophilia & Health Collective of North®. under the auspices of Maulana Azad Medical College and Lok Nayak Hospital, Delhi. It will bring together experts from different specialities including Comprehensive Haematology, Medicine, Paediatrics, Pathology, Blood Transfusion Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics and Dentistry. Stake holders from Health Departments and Hospital Administration and Policy Makers will also be in attendance.

There will be series of sessions and panel discussions planned which will be covering status and gaps in Haemophilia care, prioritizing primary treatment regimens and segmenting different archetypes for different protocols based on clinical outcomes & cost-effectiveness useful for developing country like India with an intent to optimise the resources.

Post‑event outcomes

The conclave successfully brought together over 200 experts. Key consensus was reached on treatment protocols tailored for resource‑constraint settings. The updated National Guidelines on Haemophilia Care (second edition) will incorporate the deliberations and recommendations from this meeting.

The first guidelines (released 14 December 2023) are available for download. The updated version is expected in late 2024.
