Forthcoming Events

Dear Colleague,

Greetings from the Haemophilia & Health Collective of North®. We are pleased to invite you to the National Haemophilia and Haemoglobinopathy Conclave 2025 (NHHC 2025), scheduled for 17th & 18th May 2025 at Holiday Inn, Aerocity, New Delhi.

This important academic event is being organized by Haemophilia & Health Collective of North® with founding members coming from senior experienced and dedicated faculty of prestigious academic institutions under different State governments.

In a short span since its foundation in July 2023, Haemophilia & Health Collective of North® has proved its mettle with its dedication and capabilities in organizing a national level Conclaves, Seminars & Workshops, focussed-group experts’ meetings, Advisory & Advocacy programmes, and Patient empowerment initiatives. Noteworthy are the HHCN Recommendations on Policy & Protocols for selecting the right product for Optimal haemophilia care in India, these first-ever Guidelines were formally released on 14 December 2023.

This year’s theme, Emerging Paradigms in Haemophilia and Haemoglobinopathy Care in India – Time to Realign, highlights the significant shifts taking place in the diagnosis and management of haemophilia and haemoglobinopathies across the country.

India is undergoing a transformative phase in the care of haemophilia, thalassemia, and sickle cell disease. Innovations in diagnostics, the availability of extended half-life factor concentrates, non-factor therapies, and gene-based approaches are redefining treatment goals. Emphasis on patient-centred care, early diagnosis through newborn screening, expanded access to comprehensive care centres, and robust data registries are paving the way for a more sustainable, equitable, and outcomes-driven healthcare model. These emerging paradigms not only promise improved clinical outcomes but also aim to enhance the overall quality of life for individuals living with these chronic conditions.

NHHC 2025 is curated for a diverse group of stakeholders involved in the care of haemophilia and haemoglobinopathies, including clinical haematologists, physicians, pathologists, medical geneticists, physiotherapists, transfusion medicine experts, and key policymakers from the National Health Mission (NHM) and Directorate of Health Services (DHS).

We look forward to your presence and contribution to the discussions at this important conclave. Your expertise and insights will be invaluable in shaping the way forward.

Warm regards,

Dr. Naresh Gupta
